Data is powerful. It can be used to make decisions, predict outcomes, and improve efficiency. But data management isn’t always easy. There are many ways to store and process data, but not all of them provide the exactness that CommerceCore™ does.

With its wide variety of features for any size business, CommerceCore™ allows you to manage your data efficiently without having to worry about losing anything in translation or missing opportunities due to poor decision-making capabilities.

The open-source CommerceCore™ Merchant Operating System delivers many capabilities combined into a single fantastic platform. 'Export' is one such feature that is beneficial for a variety of operations such as promoting, requesting, planning, inventory, and accounting. In other words, it may be used in a variety of CommerceCore™ modules

This data strategy assists in the export of important data in either CSV or XLSX format. This feature may be used from many perspectives and helps in the assessment of various forms of information and data such as personal information, customer data, product data, distribution orders, and so on from top to bottom.

How to Export data from CommerceCore™

CommerceCore™ users will find Export Data In CommerceCore™ modules to be an useful feature that enables users to export any type of data from the ERP system. All CommerceCore™ modules include a standard mechanism for exporting data from a CSV or Excel file.

Before you perform the data export, it is a good practice to double-check the information that needs to be exported to ensure that it is error-free. If there is a problem, attempt to identify it before exporting the data. Otherwise, problems with the export procedure may arise, and null values may be inserted in the worksheet.

Let's have a look into Order's Data Exporting

Go to Sales Orders - Orders

Here you can see the order details. Click on any checkbox placed in the left corner of each order, which order's data you want to export. Click on the Action drop-down button and choose the Export option.

After that, a dialog box will appear with all the available fields in the orders data. You can select the required fields one by one. The selected items will be added under Fields to Export. You can choose Export Format either CSV or Excel.

Before you click on the Save Field List, you need to provide a Name for the export data file.

You can choose to save the exported data to an Existing template or you can create a New template.

An Excel file will be generated with the chosen fields shown in columns. Here is the exported data into Microsoft Excel file.
